One of Arlington's best restaurants. Excellent service, beautiful decor - high ceilings, soft lighting, very elegant. They also have an excellent wine collection and a nice bar. As with all Arlington eateries, you need to order something from the menu to have drinks. I've gone there many times after a movie for a little wine and desert.

Tall Tree Guild, a gallery-style retail shop featuring Massachusetts-made hand-crafted heirloom furniture, as well as pottery, silk-screened pillows, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind objets d’art is located at 185 Massachusetts Avenue in East Arlington. The shop is open Tuesday - Sunday; 781-646-3009.
The Tall Tree line has been in production for the past two years and until now has only been available to the trade through its designer showroom in Shirley. Now, with the opening of its up-scale Arlington boutique, Tall Tree Guild unveils its line of playful and elegant furniture directly to the public.
The Tall Tree aesthetic is an eclectic combination of old and new—mixing traditional and non-traditional materials from hardwoods and Eco-friendly milk-paint to stainless steel and quartz, and reinterpreting a range of styles from classic Cape Cod to Santa Fe—creating a new concept in furniture design impeccably crafted by local artists.
Easily accessible by public transportation, Tall Tree Guild is minutes from Harvard Square on the 77 bus line, and there is ample street parking in the area.
The shop is open now, but Tall Tree Guild will hold a grand-opening celebration on Thursday, October 16, 6-8pm to coincide with the town's Third Thursdays series.
